Hard Times: Is there an opportunity in this?

It's at our Door Step?

  Back in January I wrote a post called Hard Times; Old and New Leaders.  With the things that now stand at our doorstep I can’t help but to think of a better title for this post.

  My wife’s grandfather, long dead was born in 1914. He had often warned me that the day is coming when you will see the 1920s & 30s repeated. That was a hard and harsh time, not only for America, but the World.

  It would be pointless at this point to tell you how much has changed, unless you have been living with your head in a box or your suffering a high degree of a Polly Anna attitude. You are now seeing how quickly your money is washing away. We are at the doorstep of a great and terrible change right now. If you think things are expensive now, just wait it’s about to go real dark.

  For years people have been saying, stock up, prepare. Well, you need to learn how to do things yourself. If you have not done something about it yet then hopefully you will get something out of this article.

  Not that long ago Russia decided to stop playing games with us and officially declared us to be the enemy that should be stopped. After that a Russian nuclear sub was seen off the coast of Florida. Then the government arrested some members of ISIS in California and New York who were actually Russian citizens attempting to do damage.

  Now we are seeing the Dollar and the Euro being dumped in large volumes by Russia, China and now it looks like a whole host of other nations are joining them. In effect, the real inflation is about to take place at levels far beyond the 1930’s.

  Paper will mean nothing, the only thing that will matter is what you can hold in your hand. Do you need supplements to take the place of your medications? Go to Vitacost and get it while they still have it. Your afraid to walk away from standardized medicine and try supplements because you don’t know what you need? Now is the time to research and learn.

  Information is key and from it you can develop skills, and skills can keep you alive. Start downloading information on many how-to-topics, stop waisting your time with on-line-games and politics, they are a distraction. If the information you find is electronic. Copy it to external hard drives, thumb drives or even CD’s

  There are ways to keep you devices working, mind you will not have internet. So what you have will just be used for storage, so your battery should last longer.

  Search around for small solar panels, I got mine at Tractor Supply and it’s just large enough to keep the battery charged in my truck. Now you may think what good it that going to do if you can not drive it? Good question, in this case I will pull the battery and charge it directly. There are several good devices you can place on the battery to charge up your computer and battery powered hand tools.

  Think about it, anything that you can plug into the cigarette lighter (now called a power point) to charge things with can be the same things you use. The only difference is you took the car or truck out of the equation and are now working directly.

  If you're in a big city, get out. It would be far safer in my opinion to live in a tent in the national forest than getting shot at in LA for food. Your location means everything. You need to adopt the mindset of, “if I had to start over with whatever I have in my car/truck, can I make it in the forest/desert/rolling plains. If not, then it’s time to equip your self better.

  Right now the nations of the world are getting ready. Some Canadian groups are now saying that they need to get ready for the civil war that is going to be happening just to their south, in the United States.

  In Australia the government is using the bird flu as a new excuse to dominate the public. They are destroying the majority of the chicken flocks, even in peoples back yards. Experts say that Australia will suffer at least one year with egg rationing and no chicken meat in the stores.

  At the same time other countries are saying this Bird flu is jumping species, because of this they believe they will need to follow Australia’s lead and do the same to Pork and Beef, destroying those markets. This is the new fear scare, just like Covid.

On the Brightside, a Story.

  Years ago when my wife and I moved to Morningstar in South Carolina. Kathy became the assistant kitchen manager and I often volunteered time in the kitchen in the hopes of getting her home at a normal time.

  This kitchen would often do conference meals for anywheres between 250 to 1300 people. It was a big crew and a lot of long hours. Every year they held the “Partner meal,” for that special group that was convinced they needed to give extra to the ministry. Often times this was an over the top, fancy meal as a way of saying thank you. This was also the time that the Chef’s like my wife could really shine with their cooking skills.

   The first year we worked, a panic had set in, the handmade desert, Tiramisu was short. Not just a little but a lot. So much so that around 150+ people were not going to get any desert. So the head chief’s wife, Kim Moore stopped the whole kitchen and prayed that the Lord would multiply the the desert.

  We had only made around 8 large pans of it, when it was all done we cleaned around 12 pans and there was extra Tiramisu. Then the next year it happen again, only we had even less of the desert because of a technical accident. So we prayed, everyone got there deserts and and we had extra, untouched pans of Tiramisu. The third year our suppler shorted us on basic things like corn and beans. SO that year, I watched closely. Never got to see anything multiply. But we never ran out, and we still had extra.

  The miracle of food multiplying is real as seen in the Bible, I know this first hand and in the days ahead I pray that you will see this as well.

FYI, we finally looked up what Tiramisu means, it means, “Lifted Up.”

“Why do the nations conspire
    and the peoples plot in vain?

  I think one of the reason we often no longer see miracles in the western world is that we have not been pushed to the place where we have no other choice. Very soon, this may all change and we will either become a biblical community, literally living off the faith in God or…
