This quote is from a well-known Christian Band from the 1990s called “Out of the Gray.” Having been burned by the system, they learned what many of us are now learning. Dogma and Doctrine can be self-serving tools to protect leadership and maintain their market share of believers. This brings us to a powerful question many of us are now asking.
The Stockholm Syndrome is a psychological response where hostages or abuse victims develop positive feelings towards their captors or abusers. This phenomenon, though not an official diagnosis, involves victims bonding with their captors, sometimes to the point of sharing their goals and even resenting those trying to help them. It's often seen as a coping mechanism to deal with the trauma of captivity or abuse.
Hmm… have we not all seen this in modern ministries?
As people learn to break away from the Stockholm Syndrome, we realize we don’t need permission to tell our story. This helps to break down the control of the puppet kingdom.
In the last 40 years, the value system of the Charismatic has been reformed away from biblical concepts and values to a narcissistic support system. This was designed to keep little kingdoms afloat while pretending it helped the real kingdom.
Once free, we need to seek wisdom so that we do not confuse good and bad. Jesus is our model to follow, so learn to show grace to the humble, but stand as a wall against the proud. If you fail to learn this lesson, you may run the risk of Legalism in your life and hurting others.
The living should NEVER suffer the dead, even if they are still walking.
If you can hear this message and understand it. Then you may have some concept of just how angry the Lord is with the Rebellious Leaders of this Age.
