Our entire culture is one in which we elevate others for even the simplest of reasons (the influencer culture). It's not difficult to see how Christians do the same thing to pastors and church leaders. But following men will always lead to disappointment. We are all imperfect, sinful creatures. We should be teaching everyone to set their eyes on Jesus.
